This is definitely a new twist on the BLACK CANARY character.
She is using her voice to sing instead of break peoples ear
drums. If only it could be that easy for her, be in a band,
make some money. Strangely enough most of their shows are
breaking out in violence and BLACK CANARY has a tendency to
fight back. All this violence has them wondering what is going
on and it's not until aliens attack and try to take their
young guitar player that they realize something more than
crazy fans is going on.
People or things are coming for the girl and with the help of
a surprise old friend the Canary is determined to save the
young, mute teen. The action is non stop, from singing to
fighting and training the band members keep quite busy and
will stop at nothing to save Ditto.
The artwork is well done, with variety throughout and a few
surprises thrown in at the end. If the BLACK CANARY was
needing a restart she got it. Now let's see where they take her
character and keep if they keep her alive.
Dinah Lance hits the road! After years as a soldier and
vigilante, the last place Dinah saw herself is on stage ...
but she's quickly learning she'd die to protect the gang of
misfits she's fallen into. And she just might have to—for
some reason, the newly rechristened band Black Canary seems
to be a magnet for trouble ... and Dinah's not gonna believe
it when she finds out the reason why!
