Mystery Woman Sleuth | Mystery Cozy

Felicia Swift is the senior researcher for the Director of the Library of Congress. When she arrives at work one morning, she finds the Director dead and knows it's not an accident. The police however think it is, and she is determined to prove them wrong. Her investigation will push her closer to the police officer assigned to the case and place herself in danger.

Hard charging detective Mark Rizzo has had bad luck with cases lately and needs a quick easy close. So when he is sent to the Library of Congress and told to be discreet, he is happy to learn the Medical Examiner thinks the death is an accident. When the sexy librarian, Felicia Swift insists that the death couldn't be an accident, he initially dismisses her and attempts to close the case. Only Felicia won't be dismissed and keeps looking into the case, forcing Mark to try to keep her from getting hurt. When another person dies, Mark must do what he can to help Felicia and save his case. Things heat up between the two in numerous ways as they work together to solve the case.

Olivia Hill keeps you guessing till the end in this whodunit, sexy suspense. Throwing together two people who would never have met and would have missed out on a great time. The unlikely team of a hard working cop and multiple PHD possessing librarian leads to a few comical moments showing their compatibility even with all their differences. MURDER IN THE AISLES gives sexy librarian a new name and is a quick enjoyable read with murder, mystery and juicy love scenes.

SUMMARY

Murderous intent is no match for killer intellect accessorized with stiletto heels.

A Felicia Swift Mystery, Book 1

If there’s one thing Felicia Swift likes more than sex, it’s books. But her dream job at the Library of Congress takes a macabre turn when she finds a linguistics specialist lying dead between his least favorite subjects: Anthropology and Astrophysics.

Worse, the utterly sexy detective seems to have his eyes on Felicia’s curves more than the evidence, which she is convinced points at the wrong man. And she plans to convince him of just that—right after he buys her an apple martini.

Mark Rizzo plans to wrap up this investigation as quickly as possible. Until he realizes the witness isn’t some dumpy, wizened librarian, but a researcher with endless legs, bottomless intellect, and a bulldog determination to complicate this open-and-shut case all to hell.

As Felicia and Rizzo dig closer to the truth, the real culprit gets jittery enough to try something desperate. Leaving Felicia to wonder if their investigation will lead them down the aisle of no return.

Warning: Contains a jaded detective with more scuffs, scrapes, and scars than a well-loved pair of Timberlands. Plus a more fashion-forward (and probably better smelling) sleuth than Sherlock Holmes who’s as picky about her lovers as she is about her shoes—and make no mistake, she’s had plenty of both.
