Romance Suspense

As soon as he realized the danger he was in, Adam Faraday called his brother Casey. Adam Faraday was beaten and taken hostage while Casey listened. Using the Faraday family's vast resources and connections they were able to determine that Adam had been taken by a Mexican drug cartel, and not just any cartel but one Casey had worked in as an undercover agent for the DEA. Now retired after faking his death and exiting the cartel, Casey must revive his undercover persona and go back in to save his brother.

When he finally makes contact with the Cartel leader and members of the group, he is shocked to find out his contact is the woman he believed dead since the night he left, a woman who haunted his every waking moment for years. Not only is she alive but she holds even more shock and surprise for Casey. Things he doesn't know how to put aside while he focuses on his mission: finding and saving his little brother. As time runs short for both Adam and Casey, complication upon complication pile up and everyone's lives are put in danger including the woman Adam has loved and lost, but refuses to lose again.

Eddie Harris put drama, action, love and adventure in the third book in the Blood Money stories. In CRAZED Casey gets his story and THRILLED, the next story, is set up and just waiting to be read. The Faraday's are a great family, and they always do whatever they must for each other. There are no lengths they won't go to protect and save each other, even when things get extremely complicated for them.

Eddie Harris ensures that you are able to read all her books as stand alones, but I always think a good series deserves to have all the books read. There is always action to go with the romance in the Blood Money series, which makes them more fun to read. Nothing like a good explosion to bring a couple closer!

SUMMARY

Casey Faraday was a soldier before he was a spy, but family always came first, no matter what. When a member of the Faraday clan is snatched off the streets and dragged halfway across the world, it's Casey who follows the kidnappers' trail to South America. Thrust into the heart of the cartel he barely escaped during an undercover assignment four years earlier, he's unprepared for the shock awaiting him on Colombian soil. Ilda Almeida—the only woman to ever tempt Casey into madness, the beautiful wife he'd mourned for years—is very much alive. And keeping a secret that will forever change life as he knows it. Casey can't control his hands—or his heart—around Ilda, but neither can he abandon his rescue mission. When cartel violence turns the jungle into a bloodbath, he can only protect one family: his. Book three of the Blood Money series
