Castle Rock is celebrating Christmas in July with a huge
music festival, but Bronwyn Sinclair is feeling less than
festive. After all, how can it feel like Christmas when
the temperatures are scorching hot? Unfortunately,
someone else at Castle Rock's music festival isn't
feeling the holiday spirit either, and one of the judges
will soon pay the price. Can Bronwyn discover the Scrooge
who is threatening to ruin Christmas in July?
SLEIGHED AT CASTLE ROCK is a short story connected to the
Amelia Grace Rock 'n' Roll Mystery series featuring
the concert venue, Castle Rock, and some of its
employees. SLEIGHED AT CASTLE ROCK focuses on Bronwyn
rather than Amelia as the main character and thus it is
easy to jump into the story as a new reader to the
series. However, I'm hooked after reading SLEIGHED AT
CASTLE ROCK and will definitely be reading other books in
the Amelia Grace Rock 'n' Roll Mystery series soon!
I laughed so hard I cried! Bronwyn is a fantastic main
character, and I'm truly sorry she's not the heroine of
the Amelia Grace Rock n'Roll Mystery series because
I
absolutely love her. Bronwyn is spunky, quick on her feet
to handle difficult situations, loyal to her friends, but
best of all she's hilariously funny. The scene where she
first tries on her costume makes me laugh even now!
SLEIGHED AT CASTLE ROCK is a short but very entertaining
mystery that whets the reader's appetite for more by this
talented author. Anne Marie Stoddard packs this tale with
likable characters, a good solid mystery, and plenty of
humor. Seeing the music industry from the concert venue's
perspective offers readers an interesting approach and I
look forward to reading more books set at Castle Rock.
No matter what season, the holidays can be murder! Bronwyn
Sinclair, assistant to Castle Rock manager, Amelia Grace,
is
feeling Grinchy—but who can blame her? With Ame out of
town,
Bronwyn is taking over her duties running Castle Rock’s
Christmas in July music festival and Battle of the Bands
competition.
It’s hard enough to get into the holiday spirit in the
sweltering summer heat, but things take a turn for the
deadly when someone slips mistletoe in one of the judges'
drinks. Can Bron scratch the would-be killer off her
naughty
list before the whole festival is ruined?
