Eric Becker is a werewolf, and a member of the Dallas SWAT
team. Jayna Winston is a thief. She finds herself IN THE
COMPANY OF WOLVES when his team shows up to stop her pack
from stealing from a warehouse. Instead of shooting each
other Becker breaks pattern and hides her from the other
cops. What a way to meet your One.
IN THE COMPANY OF WOLVES is author Paige Tyler's third book
in the SWAT
series, and they just keep getting better. There is so much
going on it could be perplexing, but it is so well written
you won't miss a beat. I love Eric; I mean a werewolf
who has an aquarium with all girl fish has got to be
sensitive and loving. It is also very intriguing, if not a
little illegal, how he found her because in his haste to
protect her, he didn't even get her name. It is Cooper, one
the SWAT members, who
helps Eric out by hiding the truth when Eric goes
undercover to protect Jayna.
Funny, but
I do believe it was Cooper that kept Xander's and Khaki's
secret in WOLF TROUBLE...Maybe this guy is fast earning a
book of his own.
Jayna is spirited young woman who will do whatever she has
to do to protect the members of her pack. Something her
alpha should be doing, but you will have to read this book
o
to find out why he isn't. Not having anyone but her
alpha to learn from she has a few mistaken notions about
being a pack and is lucky Eric came along when he did.
If you are looking for action, steamy yet sweet romance,
and
a group of people who have each others' backs then IN THE
COMPANY OF WOLVES is just what you have to pick up.
He opened his mouth to order her to drop the MP5 she had
aimed at him, but nothing would
come out. It was like she'd robbed him of the ability to
speak. Shooting her wasn't an option,
though. And the idea of arresting her didn't make him feel
any better.
There's a new gang of criminals in town who are organized
and ruthless in the extreme. When
Eric Becker, along with the rest of the Dallas SWAT team,
ends up in the middle of a shootout, he
immediately senses werewolves-a lot of them. Turns out, the
new bad guys are a pack of wolf
shifters.
In a spray of gunfire, Becker comes face-to-face with the
most gorgeous woman he's ever seen.
Becker does the logical thing. He hides her and leaves the
scene with the rest of his team.
Jayna Winston has no idea why that SWAT guy helped her, but
she's glad he did. Ever since she
and her pack mates got mixed up with those Eastern European
mobsters, everything had pretty
much fallen apart.
So what's a street-savvy thief like Jayna going to do with a
hot alpha-male wolf who's a police
officer?
