Penny Meadows loves her cute little cottage in White Cliff
Bay. She loves
her job as an ice sculptor as well, but her life is a
lonely one. She decides
to rent out the annex of her cottage and is looking forward
to meeting the
new couple who will be living there, Henry and Daisy.
Henry arrives alone
and explains that Daisy is staying with relatives for a few
days. Penny can
not believe how openly Henry is flirting with her! He is a
married man after
all.
She is visibly upset by all of his shenanigans but is
mortified when she
finally meets Daisy and realizes Daisy is Henry's daughter
not his wife. But
that only happens after she calls Henry a pervert thinking
that he married a
child! Trust me, the laughs only get bigger from there.

LILAC COTTAGE will have you laughing out loud, so much so
that you will
be holding your sides before you know it!
Penny has been hurt in the past and isn't looking for
another broken heart.
Henry is what you would call a player, never committing to
anyone, and not
looking to change his ways. But there is something about
Penny, and he
can't stop thinking about her. He wants to give her the
happiness she
deserves and feels the need to protect her. CHRISTMAS AT
LILAC
COTTAGE is a heart warming story filled with beautiful
moments
that will have you cheering for Henry and Penny while
holding your breath,
waiting to see what happens next.
Holly Martin is quickly becoming one of my favorite
authors. She has a
way of warming you up inside and will have you falling in
love with all the
characters from the very beginning of CHRISTMAS AT LILAC
COTTAGE.
You can't help but care for Penny. She is damaged where
love is
concerned, and very fragile, but she goes out of her way to
help those she
cares about. Henry is my new book boyfriend who I thought
was an uptight
snob in the beginning but the way he protects Penny and
looks out for her
had me swooning in no time at all. I devoured Henry and
Penny's story and can't wait to
continue the White Cliff Bay series with the next
book, SNOWFLAKES ON SILVER COVE. I can't wait to read more
by this
wonderful and funny author.
SUMMARY
