Eva Scott is really trying to move on from the past and
create
a fulfilling life for herself - dipping her toe into the
dating pool again, and getting a new job where she might be
able to make a difference. But unfortunately the past never
truly stays buried.
When Eva witnesses the sudden death of an
elderly gentleman at the station, and hears his dying
words,
she doesn't realise her very existence will
soon be placed in jeopardy. Determined to not give in to
her
mounting paranoia, Eva tries to convince herself that
coincidences do happen. But a girl should always trust her
instincts. For unbeknownst to her, Eva is a key to a
scientific technology that many will kill for. As danger
follows her at every turn, Eva will once again have to put
her
survival skills to the test. And as ghosts from the past
fade
in and out of existence, can Eva piece the puzzle together
before it is too late?
With plenty of suspense, tension, danger and a fascinating
plot, KILLING EVA by Alex Blackmore, proves to be a
cleverly
engrossing thriller. After what she has been through Eva is
a
little bit jumpy, but as danger encircles her, we get to
see
her strength and determination to solve the mystery.
KILLING
EVA is the second Eva Scott novel and I highly recommend
that
readers read the first in the series, LETHAL PROFIT, as
there
is references throughout and it also lets the reader
understand what Eva has been through previously. I
thoroughly
enjoyed KILLING EVA by Alex Blackmore and I look forward to
more from this author.
Witnessing a dramatic death at London’s Waterloo Station
triggers a series of events that shatter Eva Scott’s world.
Dying words awaken a history she had thought long buried,
and soon, Eva's life is out of her hands.
A genetic key is keeping her alive, but foreshadowing her
death. People she's lost materialize and then disappear,
testing her sanity. Linked to her survival is the potential
takedown of an economic power, on which hang the lives of
many others. Eva’s life is no longer her own.
