Romance

Skylar Shaw has gotten her first job as a journalist for a small paper in Florida, and she is determined to excel at it. So when a plane crashes on the beach, injuring a bystander, Skylar wastes no time in getting her exclusive. Unfortunately for her, the hero of the incident has disappeared, and as she searches for this mysterious stranger, Skylar finds herself talking to a charming, Italian man that makes her heart race and her body yearn for more. But romance is definitely not on her agenda, as Skylar is still figuring out her life after being in an abusive relationship. Focusing on her career, the last thing Skylar needs is a powerful connection to this enigmatic Italian. But sometimes fate has its own idea.

Luca Rossi longs to return to his home in beautiful Italy and his job as a successful journalist, but sadly this is not possible. Helping prosecutors take down an Italian Mafia boss has forced him into hiding in America. After his parents were murdered, Luca knows that he is safer alone, shrouded in secrecy. But when Skylar stumbles across him, Luca cannot deny the passion that she stirs in him. Although a journalist is the last person in the world he should be interested in, Luca cannot ignore what flares to life between them. But danger is closing in around them and it will be deadly.

HOT SHADE by Tamara Lush is a gripping romance with plenty of suspense and sizzling, erotic scenes to keep you enthralled. Luca is intelligent, funny and absolutely gorgeous, but he also has a dark past and a deeper side to him. Skylar is feisty and becoming the self-confident woman she always knew she could be. But with many secrets swirling around them, and danger lurking at every corner, can they survive? This powerful story kept me enthralled throughout, and I highly recommend HOT SHADE by Tamara Lush.

SUMMARY

Journalist Skylar Shaw covers a plane crash on a Florida beach that leads her to a handsome yet mysterious Italian man...and the conspiracy that threatens all he holds dear. Romance is the last thing on reporter Skylar Shaw's mind when she covers a plane crash on a Florida beach. Her best source could be a rich, mysterious Italian man, but he's strictly off the record--unless it involves indulging their electrifying attraction to each other. Little does Skylar know, but that crash is only the beginning. Luca Rossi is hiding a big secret: He's a journalist, too, and his anonymous exposé on the Mafia destroyed his world. Now, after two lonely years on the run, he will do anything to possess this vulnerable American beauty. But Skylar is as relentless as the Florida glare, and the situation ignites when she reports on a gruesome murder in a swamp. Soon erotic nights will bleed into dangerous days, and nowhere will be safe from the heat.
