Fans of Diana Palmer are going to love WYOMING
RUGGED, which has all the elements of a true Palmer
romance novel. Palmer's characters are regular
people with exceptional stories about finding their true
love. WYOMING RUGGED definitely scores high on the love
scale. Niki Ashton was what some guys consider old fashioned,
which was at odds with her beauty. It wasn't that she
wasn't interested in having a relationship. Niki had her
sights set on a man who was
quite out of reach. Blair Coleman was a good friend and
contemporary of Niki's father, Todd. Niki was smart enough
to know Blair wasn't going to return her feelings -- he
considered himself too old -- and a family friend to boot.
But somehow Niki's heart just wasn't getting that
message. In all fairness, Niki and Blair have shared many close
personal moments that has broadened their special
relationship. But Blair couldn't get past what he
considers inappropriate. Sure, he loved Niki but how could
he be in love with this woman so many years his junior.
And he fights that attraction tooth and nail. Niki is determined to get beyond this unsettling and
unsatisfying attraction to Blair when she finally seems
to realize the futility of her crush. As much as she
would like to pursue a mutually affectionate
relationship with this man, in the end Niki is a realist. But some things are too big to fight, and this friendship
between Blair and Niki has all the earmarks of love. Will
Blair relent and let his heart guide him, or will his head
rule his passion? Diana Palmer likes to create odd couples, and in WYOMING
RUGGED she definitely sets a new standard. Tough versus
fragile. Mature versus innocent. The sides couldn't be
further apart. But then Diana Palmer does her thing and
love is born. Palmer works hard to make it look possible
even though there are many pitfalls. Diana Palmer is at heart a true romantic and love is
always the winner. As a romance follower you just can't
do better than a Diana Palmer story to make your heart
lighter and smile brighter. Simple romance with just a
few little twists and turns to make it interesting.
WYOMING RUGGED is no exception.
SUMMARY
New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Diana Palmer
is back in Wyoming with a tale of love born in Big Sky Country… Billionaire oilman Blair Coleman has always taken care of
his business. After having been used and cast aside by a
woman he thought he loved, his personal life is far from his
first priority. He knows only one has ever truly cared for
him—but the irresistible blonde beauty is the daughter of
his best friend. Niki Ashton has seen her father's friend wounded and she's
seen him fight. Blair is the strongest—and most stubborn—man
she's ever known. That very heart and passion makes him the
man of her dreams, but whenever they've been in danger of
getting close, Blair has always pushed her away. It takes a possible tragedy to strip away all of Blair's
misgivings. Now it's all or nothing: marriage, baby, family,
forever. But will the choice be too much for Niki…or too late?
