Linda Lael Miller set out to write a warm, fuzzy holiday
story that takes place in a small town where everyone
knows everybody and everything. CHRISTMAS IN MUSTANG
CREEK is considered part of her Brides of Bliss County
series -- actually this is book number four. The Brides
series originally centered on a marriage pact of three
best friends. By now, all three friends are settled down
with the loves of their lives. CHRISTMAS IN MUSTANG CREEK
takes place in the same place and uses the joy of the
season and small town living as the ploy for the romance
in this delightful book. Charlotte Morgan is faced with personal challenges that
can't or shouldn't be ignored. When her Aunt Geneva shows
signs of some age-related memory issues there was only
one course of action for Charlotte -- go home to Mustang
Creek for the woman who altered her life to care for a
young orphaned niece. It is not that Charlotte had turned
her back on her beloved aunt when she followed her career
dreams to the big city. Geneva was Charlotte's biggest
champion. But times change and family comes first. Jaxton Locke follows Charlotte to Mustang Creek. She has
held his heart for quite some time but their career paths
were too divergent for a successful relationship. Jax
dreamed of being a country vet, Mustang Creek was the
perfect venue, and there was a position open -- absolutely
perfect. Except for one small thing: Charlotte's
reluctance to follow her heart and give their
relationship an honest chance. Perhaps they needed some divine intervention, or maybe
just a Christmas miracle. CHRISTMAS IN MUSTANG CREEK is funny, heartwarming, and a
fitting entry into a delightful series by Linda Lael
Miller. Miller infuses CHRISTMAS IN MUSTANG CREEK with
much of her cowboy wisdom and showcases some very unique
characters that will reside in your mind for a long time
coming. Linda Lael Miller is a huge animal lover and
advocate so it is natural that CHRISTMAS IN MUSTANG CREEK
has many furry co-stars. Any fan of Miller expects it and
once again she delivers with panache. CHRISTMAS IN
MUSTANG CREEK is not a continuation of any previous
stories -- has an entire new cast of characters -- so you
need not worry if you haven't yet read the Brides of
Bliss County. But the Brides series is absolutely grand
so why not pick up a copy of the books and add all these
to your must read list.
SUMMARY
No one does the holidays like Linda Lael Miller, whose
Christmas novels have warmed the hearts of millions of
readers the world over! Charlotte Morgan grew up in Mustang Creek, Wyoming, and
couldn't wait to escape to the big city. But life in New
York isn't as fabulous as she'd like to admit—she's lonely,
doing a job she doesn't love and dating too many frogs she
meets online. There was one potential prince, though—Jaxon Locke, a
veterinarian with definite possibilities—but his move to
Idaho to fill in at his dad's vet practice ended things

know is that he misses her, more than he expected… Meanwhile, Charlotte's great-aunt Geneva—the woman who
raised her—needs to enter an assisted-living facility. So,
just before Christmas, Charlotte moves back home. When Jax
catches wind of her move back West, he's determined to get
to Wyoming and do whatever it takes to win her back. Christmas in Mustang Creek is a magical time in a magical
place, not least because of a mysterious visitor named Mrs.
Klozz. She knows that love is the greatest gift of all, and
she's ready to help out Santa by giving these two a push in
the right direction!
