SCANDAL NEVER SLEEPS is the first book in the intriguing Perfect Gentlemen series about a group of wealthy, privileged young men who called themselves the Perfect Gentlemen of Creighton Academy. Their time at the Academy makes it obvious these men will be successful in whatever they do. Out of that groups comes a President of the United States, a CIA Operative, and powerful businessmen. Their various sex lives earn them reputations that keep them in the press. Anyone who becomes involved with any of these guys can count on seeing their names and faces in the tabloids. There is plenty of deception that will keep you guessing.
The Perfect Gentlemen lays one of them, Maddox Crawford, to rest after he is killed in a plane crash. Gabriel Bond is left trying to clean up another of Maddox's messes. Trying to deal with the lost of his friend Gabe picks up gorgeous Eve and spends the weekend with her having unbelievable sex. Now the weekend is over and Gabe goes into Maddox's company to put things in order. Gabe is in for a shock when he discovers that the Vice President of Cyber Security for the company is Everly "Eve" Parker. Everly is equally surprised and feels that her career has ended when she discovers that she spent a weekend having amazing sex with her new boss.
All the tabloid and office fodder causes Gabe to be unsure how he feels about Everly. The only thing he does know is that he can't stay away from her and that the heat between them sizzles. Even though they are burning up the sheets, they are also working through information that leads them to believe Maddox was murdered. Because of this discovery their lives are put in jeopardy.
This is a great beginning to a new series that will reveal some secrets that will keep you guessing. And of course anything written by Shayla Black and Lexi Blake will provide plenty of sensual heat. Looking forward to the next book in this new series.
