Romance Paranormal

THE BENGAL'S QUEST is a much-anticipated book that I have been waiting for. The story of Gideon and Cat finally revealed so much. Lora Leigh's Breed Series is like no other. If BENGAL'S QUEST is the first in the series that you are picking up, I recommend you read the previous ones in order to understand what's going on. Even though this book highlights some of the background, you will appreciate the story more by becoming familiar with the other stories because they tie into each other. This is a really great series and you will not be disappointed.

Gideon and Cat's story covers a 13-year reunion that is full of pain and revelations. And as usual Jonas Wyatt is smack dab in the middle. Gideon and Cat have suffered so much until you have to root for them to come through it all. Because Cat has seen so much pain you understand why she puts up this tough exterior to protect herself. Gideon has spent his whole life protecting Cat even at his own expense. He proves to be a formidable Bengal Breed that has a reputation that shows just what will happen to anyone that comes between him and his mate.

Once all the secrets around Gideon and Cat are revealed it's heartbreaking and heartwarming because you finally see the light at end of the tunnel and these two will finally, finally crack that hard shell exterior.

No one tells a story like Lora Leigh. And the mating rituals -- scorching hot and out of this world. So looking forward to Judd's story. There are so many more stories out there for the Breeds and I know without a doubt they will be great.

If this is your first Lora Leigh book, you can read it as a standalone but I would recommend reading the others first. I didn't start with the first Breed book. I think I started with Book No. 7, Megan's Mate. After reading that one I knew I needed to read the others so I purchased the the others and have not missed one since. Anything written by Lora Leigh is worth reading.

SUMMARY

He was a shadow, ever shifting and insinuating, able to blend in everywhere and anywhere. The elusive ideal conceived and created by the Genetics Council, he went by just as many names as he had identities—the last one being Gideon.

Now calling himself Graeme, he hides in plain sight, terrifyingly close to his goal. A rogue Bengal Breed, he has loyalties to no one but himself. And he has a need for vengeance that surges hot and swift through his veins.

Graeme plans to exact an extreme and ruthless vendetta against those who wronged him—Breed and human alike. All will suffer his wrath: those who created him, those who pretended to love him, and those who betrayed him.

That includes the one at the center of it all: a seductive, enigmatic woman helpless against the man whose desire is just as desperate as his need to destroy.

And he’s on her scent…
