Romance Suspense
Tobias Faraday is part of a very powerful company that
works
very hard to stop dangerous people. Governments hire them
to
help get the job done. Now Tobias is hunting the people
who
hurt his sister Beth and he has one of them in custody.
Chandler McCallister has worked for British intelligence
for
years and is very good at what she does. But now she is in
the
custody of the Faradays and knows they will never let her
see
the light of day again.
Tobias will do anything to catch these people and he will
use
Chandler to get what he wants and doesn't care what it
costs
her...including her life. At least that was the plan, now
things
are complicated and both Chandler's and Tobias' lives are
in danger.
RIPPED is the next installment in the series by Edie
Harris
about the Faraday Family. A fascinating family with
exciting
lives. The Faradays get what they want and if you stand
in
their way you will pay. At least that is what Tobias plans
for
the world to know and it's exciting to watch and see if he
can
make it happen. I love a man who will do anything to
protect
those he loves from evil. I can't wait for the next
installment.

SUMMARY
Attorney and political heavyweight Tobias Faraday is the Ice
King, a man alone in the eye of a deadly storm. And in the
wake of his sister's torture, he's out for blood. The key to Tobias's revenge is the disavowed British spy
he's kept imprisoned for weeks. Chandler McCallister can get
him behind enemy lines in Russia, but the clever
double-agent has a demand of her own before she puts her
life on the line in the name of redemption. Posing as Chandler's boyfriend at an aristocratic wedding in
the English countryside won't kill Tobias. Not in theory. As the threat of Moscow looms larger and the enemy reveals
himself to be crueler than any human can imagine, Tobias
reluctantly partners with his prisoner to derail the
immediate threat—to their families, to Faraday Industries,
and to their lives. What he finds in the process is a
feverish, relentless need already melting the ice from his
veins.
