What a sweet, straight from the heart with love, type of
story THE RED BIKINI is.
Written by Lauren Christopher, this is the best summer
romance story I have read
in a long time. It makes you feel all giddy inside as you
read about the main
character's summer that is her jump-start to a new life as
a single mom. As I read
I couldn't help but think what a fresh start in a sunny
summer atmosphere she
has and how I wish I could go pack and fly there myself.
Christopher made the
setting in this novel seem like a paradise that we all
would want to go to. Even
down to meeting the prince of your dreams.
This romance is about Giselle McCabe who is trying to have
a two-week
summer break with her daughter after her divorce with her
husband. She is
looking to find healing and to live for herself again.
Then she meets Fin Hensen,
a pro surfer who is getting back into his sport after a
year of unsettling stories
that leave him looking for that next big wave. Except that
wave comes in a way
he did not expect. With both Fin and Giselle coming from
two different worlds
with her a little older, can she forget this guy who seems
to be living a life she
doesn't think she could ever fit into?
THE RED BIKININ has some surprises on the way but leaves
you with that
warm feeling inside that you get when you finish the best
love story ever. Though
I must say at times I felt I would cry with heart break
over decision Giselle had to
make I wouldn't want this story to end any other way!
Lauren Christopher made
me love her characters and I hope to read more from that
sunny side of
California.
For the last five years, Giselle McCabe’s life has been
about sippy cups and playdates. But when her husband
suddenly leaves her, Giselle flees to her sister’s
California beach house for a two-week getaway. Out of her
element, she’s surprised to receive such a warm
welcome—especially from gorgeous celebrity athlete Fin
Hensen
Fin is escaping his pro tour for a season, trying to lie
low
until all the hubbub over a huge mistake in his past blows
over. And when he sets his sights on Giselle, he realizes
that the beautiful good girl just might be the ticket to
his
success.
But Giselle never expected romance to enter the picture
again—especially with a hot twentysomething from a
completely different world. And even though it feels like
Fin is everything she’s trying to run away from, she can’t
help coming back for more
