Drew Flannery and Avery Yeung have been best friends for
as
long as they can remember. Through their troubled
childhoods,
they have always been there to support each other, no
matter
what - like when Drew's mum died and his father became the
town drunk, or when Avery's mum died of cancer and then
her
sister was diagnosed with the same disease. Throughout
life's
many twists and turns they have always been that pillar of
consistency and strength for each other. But all of their
history is soon turned on its head.
When Avery realises that she may have to undergo a
hysterectomy to prevent her from developing cancer, she
decides that she is going to have a baby now, and that a
donor
is the perfect solution. Drew cannot comprehend her doing
this
all alone, and vows to step up and be there for her and
the
child. But he has one requirement of Avery - that she has
his
baby and he wants to conceive it the old fashioned way!
With
love not in the equation, will their friendship survive
the
journey that they have started together, or in trying to
achieve her dream of being a mother, will Avery lose the
only
relationship that truly matters to her?
FALLING FOR HIS BEST FRIEND by Katee Robert is an
energetic,
saucy, short contemporary read. With plenty of sizzle to
get
you hot under the collar, this is more than just a light
read.
Dealing with plenty of trust and commitment issues with
tenderness and compassion, the author allows us to see
deeply
into the characters minds and hearts. I really enjoyed
FALLING FOR HIS BEST FRIEND by Katee Robert and I look
forward
to reading more from this author.
Avery Yeung's biological clock just went off early.
Thanks
to her family's medical history, she's running out of
time
to get knocked up. And the only guy within donating
distance? Her overprotective-and irritatingly hot-best
friend. So clearly she needs an anonymous donor...
Anonymous donor? Over Sheriff Drew Flannery's dead body.
While daddyhood will never be in the cards for a man with
his past, Drew won't let Avery shop for a "popsicle pop."
He'll do what's right for his best friend by doing
his best friend. But only if they do it properly.
But there's nothing "proper" about it. Between the bed,
the
kitchen counter, and against his squad car, Avery and
Drew
are having the hottest sex ever. They can't get
enough of it-or each other. And without knowing it,
they've
crossed the one line that could ruin their friendship
forever...
