RUNNING BLIND is the third book in the One-Eyed
Jacks series. As usual
Cindy Gerard writes a heart stopping, edge of your seat,
sizzling story about special ops agent Jamie Cooper and
cyber
analyst Rhonda Burns.
RUNNING BLIND can be read as a stand alone. It's full of
action
with all the special ops excitement.
Playboy Jamie Cooper is used to women falling all over him
but
he meets his match in Rhonda Burns, who shuts him down at
every turn.
After a sniper attack that leaves a close friend clinging
to
life, Jamie and Rhonda are assigned to go on a security
mission together. This assignment takes them to a top-
level
military facility (think X-Files).
RUNNING BLIND is a great story with some light humor but
with plenty of
action and sizzling chemistry.
Characters from the previous books in the One-Eyed
Jacks series
as well the Black Ops Inc Series are in this novel. If
you
haven't read the previous books in this series and the
Black
Ops Series I recommend all of them. You meet tough as
nails
men and women who soften when they meet the love of their
lives.
RUNNING BLIND shows how the no commitments, no promises,
no
looking back rules that Jamie and Rhonda live by change
when
all that sexual tension that's been brewing blindsides
both of
them.
Life threatening circumstances causes Jamie and Rhonda to
realize what's important.
Cindy Gerard is a great writer whose stories grab you and
you
can't put them down. They're always filled with action,
sexual tension and anticipation of what will happen next.
These tough black ops guys have shells around their hearts
until they meet the one person who cracks that shell. The
women usually have had to make it on their own, live
through
adversity and have built up a wall of protection until the
right person comes along and they lower that wall and let
them
in. Not only are the team RUNNING BLIND trying to figure out
where
the terrorist threat is coming from but so is Jamie and
Rhonda
because they have no idea where their intense feelings
will
lead them!
