SOMETHING ABOUT A COWBOY is the second book in the
notmy1strodeo.com series. Each book so far has been
written by a different author. SOMETHING ABOUT A COWBOY
is Sarah M. Anderson contribution to the series and it is
a winner. Hot, spicy and luscious will have you looking
over your shoulder to make sure no one is watching you
fan yourself. SOMETHING ABOUT A COWBOY is not a salacious
romp in the bed story. Fans of Sarah M. Anderson expect a
great story with equally great characters. Sexiness is
just a bonus.
But here in SOMETHING ABOUT A COWBOY Anderson kind of
uses sex as one of the characters. It has a rather
important role.
Mack Tucker was setup by one of his three sons. Tommy had
created a profile for his widowed dad on
NotMy1stRodeo.com. This website is devoted to helping
people connect with a twist. The profiles are of divorced
or widowed people who want to make a connection with a
mature person who like them is no longer part of a
couple. People looking for a second chance at love or
maybe just companionship. Being single is lonely
especially to people that had been part of a twosome.
Tommy gave Mack's email and phone number to someone from
that site. After speaking with Karen Thompson and seeing
her photo Mack was unexpectedly intrigued. A blind date
just wasn't in the scope of usual for Mack. After his
wife died his world became small, quiet and lonely. He
knew it but he hadn't realized that his sons did too.
Funny how we think we hide these things from our family.
Karen was going to be at this fancy hotel and Mack just
couldn't see standing up this woman who looked and
sounded so lovely.
Suffice it to say nothing could have prepared Mack for
the instant attraction for this woman -- the first woman
he had even looked at since his wife's death. In truth
the first woman he had really ever looked other than the
woman he so dearly loved and missed. But this hot, lovely
creature was definitely going to bring out a side that
Mack didn't even know he possessed.
Karen and Mack were going to have dinner, drinks and
congratulate themselves for finally taking that first
step. Karen needed to feel attractive. Mack made her feel
that and much more. This blind date was going to open
both their eyes to what an adult sex life could be.
Now that the blinders are off the only question is
whether or not this blind date has the possibility to
lead to something more.
Seriously who knew? Sarah M. Anderson writes some of the
hottest scenes in SOMETHING ABOUT A COWBOY but this was
such a wonderful glance into the fact that sexuality
doesn't just end when you are past thirty. SOMETHING
ABOUT A COWBOY is a delightful look into changes in
expectations that naturally occur as we age and as our
lives undergo great challenges.
