Grace's former brother-in-law has been trying to reach
her. She doesn't know why and doesn't intend to reply.
However, when Anthony Ortega is found dead by his ex-
wife, Grace will have to spring into action to save Emma.

information about what is happening but she'll have to do
a lot on her own to investigate the cause of Tony's
death.
At the same time, she has been hired by Tony's fiancée to
find a horse that she believes Tony purchased for her.
As the investigation goes forward, it becomes clear that
the two events are intertwined.

her as the killers come after her.
Laura Morrigan has a really fascinating series going with
animal behaviorist and psychic, Grace Wilde. It's
fascinating to watch Grace see into the animals minds and
use the information to either solve their issues or
change the focus of the investigation. Grace learns more
about Emma as the killers are unmasked.
Ms. Morrigan deftly weaves the murder investigation with
Grace's wacky life as she rescues animals from harm. I
look forward to more in the Call of the Wilde
series.
