TRIPLE TIME is the second book in the Art of
Seduction series. Gabe Nelson plans to run for the office of District
Attorney
but needs his boring public image revamped from so he can
get
the voters to see him differently. Tattoo artist Devin
Padilla is just the person to help show a funnier, sexy
side
of himself provided he uses his legal expertise to help
her
find her brother who she was separated from when she was a
teenager.
Even though they are complete opposites they can't resist
each
and give into their attraction to each.
Devin helps Gabe to go outside of his comfort zone and
loosen
up and have fun.
Gabe in turn shows Devin that she can trust him with her
feelings and her secrets.
Devin feels that she's not right for Gabe's image and that
she
will ruin his chances at a political career.
Even though Devin has a strong personality and she's her
own
person, she lets her vulnerabilities show when she allows
others opinions to matter as to whether she's the right
person
for Gabe's career.
I liked TRIPLE TIME because it showed how opposites
attract.
Devin certainly got Gabe out of his comfort zone and
brought
out another side of him. Even though Devin tried to make
it
seem like she didn't need anyone Gabe showed her just how
much
she wanted to have someone in her life.
Even though TRIPLE TIME is Book two of the series I found
it easy
enough to follow as a stand alone story. Characters from
Book
one are in this story along with others for a great follow
up
for the next book.
Devin's brother is autistic which is why she's been
desperately trying to find him to make sure he's being
taken
care of. Regina Kyle does a great job showing how Devin
and
Victor reunite and how he interacts with others. It also
shows you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
Overall I like the book and it shows how differences can
add
some spice in a relationship!
