Romance Suspense
TAKEN BY LOVE is the first book in the Taken
Series. DEA Agent Arden Jones has put in for and has been approved
for a transfer to a desk job when he has been notified
that
a friend/fellow agent has been brutally murdered while
working undercover in a Mexican drug cartel. When Arden learns that he and his girlfriend Lucy Farris
are being watched, he is afraid it has something to do
with
the drug cartel case he is working on. So he seeks
protection for Lucy. But before the protection can be
provided Lucy is kidnapped and used and bait by the
cartel.
The kidnappers are not very bright and don't really think
things through.
TAKEN BY LOVE is short story which I wish was a little
longer. I
generally do not read books less than one hundred pages
but this
one is worth the read.
The story has some humor and the women are smart and show
they can think for themselves.
TAKEN BY LOVE shows the lengths a person will go to
protect
someone they love.
TAKEN BY LOVE is the first book that I have read by Sharon
Kleve but
am looking forward to reading others.
I am interested in reading Book two of this series so see
what else happens with Arden and Lucy as well their
friends.
