LOVE ME IF YOU DARE takes us on a romantic romp to the
Land
of Sunshine. Camille "Cami" Thompson is a deal closer
and
a very good one. Taking "no" for an answer is not in her
wheelhouse. When she arrives at the Happy Crab Motel in
the
little beach town of Coral Cove, Florida, she is ready for
handsome owner Reece Donovan to sign on the dotted line.
Her company, Real Estate Developer, Vanderhook. is very
determined to build on the prime property, is set to tear
Happy Crab Motel down and in its' place build a new super-
high-rise resort and is offering a hefty sales price No
way
Donovan can refuse this offer, from this sexy, gorgeous,
successful closer, or can he?
Cami is determined to get Reese to sell the Happy Crab and
when he initially turns her down cold, she decides to
"take
a little vacation" at the motel, and wear him down. She
gets acquainted with Coral Cove, makes friends with many
of
the folks living there and the attraction between Cami and
Reese is dynamite and ready to explode. This is a contest
of strong wills but who will be the victor?
LOVE ME IF YOU DARE is a feel good read about new
beginnings. The
characters are friendly, colorful, loyal to Reese and
really love the guy. Cami discovers her life of travel,
making mucho bucks does not hold a candle to having
friends and perhaps falling in love in the quaint town of
Coral Cove. The budding romance with the laid-back,
easy
going, carefree guy, a hunk who loves life. He is
scruffy
and sexy and teaches Cami how to snorkel, sail and make
love
in the water, again and again. Born and raised in Coral
Cove, the motel has been in his family for generations.
He
is holding on to the motel because it is the only
remaining
connection he has left to his family. He tells Cami all
about his feelings on a sail they take together, getting
marooned when the wind dies. It is True Confession time
for
both of them and they declare their love for each other.
The pet Iguana Fifi and adopted cat, Tiger Lily, add a
delightful touch to the story telling and the ending has a
feel good, happy note. Toni Blake is a lovely story
teller
with characters you will grow very fond of and wish them
the
best. I loved Tinkerbell, and Reece Cup, their nicknames
for each other.
When the question is love, the answer is always yes . . .
Camille Thompson is the best at what she does—closing
deals.
That's why real estate developer Vanderhook has sent her
to
Coral Cove, Florida, where the stubborn owner of the Happy
Crab Motel is refusing to sell. Camille's never had a
problem turning a "no" into a "yes," but then she's never
been so captivated by a man's sexy smile before.
Laidback Reece Donovan likes life simple. No amount of
money—or any other temptation Camille can offer—will
convince him to give up the one link to his past. Of
course,
it would be easier without the powerful chemistry raging
between them.
As a fragile romance begins to grow, can Reece trust
Camille
with his secrets? And when promises are broken, along with
hearts, can the charm of Coral Cove help bring them back
together?
