Miss Clare Westmore is pretty, daughter of a viscount, and
knows exactly what she wants in her second season, the
next
Duke of Harrington's proposal. But when she twists her
ankle
on the eve of Lady Austerley's annual ball, she has to
stand
in the wallflower line and watch her best friend dancing
with her duke.
Daniel Merial is Lady Austerley's personal physician; he
is
not interested in society except to build more clients
among
the ton. As a favor to Lady Austerley, he accepts the
invitation to the ball ,to watch over her if there were
more
heart attacks.
As a physician Daniel immediately notices the unlikely
wallflower Clare is in pain and immediately his clinical
skills flares to life. Of course he is so tempted by his
beautiful patient and can't stop thinking about her.
DIARY OF AN ACCIDENTAL WALLFLOWER is another well-written
story with great characters by
Jennifer Mcquiston, it is a refreshing and sweet romance
of
two people from two different worlds, One the rich
daughter of a viscount, and the other physician son of
a Gypsy horse trader.
At the beginning of DIARY OF AN ACCIDENTAL WALLFLOWER,
Clare seems to be a simpering
miss and snob, not really a likable heroine. But as she
discovers herself and what is important in life she turns
out to
be an adorable, intelligent and lovable heroine.
Daniel is a perfect, strong and amazing hero through the
whole story. I really enjoyed reading this fantastic
romantic story with the family secrets and the twists and
turns in Clare's life.
The secondary characters were really interesting and fun,
I
hope they have their own stories.
I absolutely enjoyed reading this sweet and fun book,
Jennifer Mcquiston did (as always) a fantastic job in her
first book in this new series.
Thank you Jennifer Mcquiston.
Pretty and popular, Miss Clare Westmore knows exactly what
(or rather, who) she wants: the next Duke of Harrington.
But
when she twists her ankle on the eve of the Season’s most
touted event, Clare is left standing in the wallflower
line
watching her best friend dance away with her duke.
Dr. Daniel Merial is tempted to deliver more than a
diagnosis to London's most unlikely wallflower, but he
doesn’t have time for distractions, even one so
delectable.
Besides, she's clearly got her sights on more promising
prey. So why can’t he stop thinking about her?
All Clare wants to do is return to the dance floor. But as
her former friends try to knock her permanently out of
place, she realizes with horror she is falling for her
doctor instead her duke. When her ankle finally heals and
she faces her old life again, will she throw herself back
into the game?
Or will her time in the wallflower line have given her a
glimpse of who she was really meant to be?
