own to complete. The Goblin King, Mimic, desperate to learn
the secrets of the Titans, has sent him to the Ogre Courts
of Og. Thux's wife is held hostage to insure both his
success and return.
MYSTIC QUEST is the second book of The Bronze Canticles,
following MYSTIC WARRIOR, which came out last year. The
Hickmans have a lot of practice at world-building and are
adept at it. The three worlds are very different and the
story threads go back and forth between the dimensions,
each alive with magic, adventure and human drama...even in
the non-human worlds. An intriguing story -- I can't wait to
read the last book in the trilogy.
