Romance Contemporary

FIRE ME UP by Kimberly Kincaid is book number four in the Pine Mountain series.

Sexy sous chef Adrian has spent weeks, covering for head chef, Carly who is on her honeymoon and he is now running on fumes. When he is in an accident with a mini van on his motorcycle that could have been so much worse than a broken arm, his life takes a big turn in FIRE ME UP.

Carly bans him from her kitchen for at least six weeks and she isn't playing around. Six weeks off with idle time doesn't set well with him. Walking into the Double Shot Bar and Grill, he finds new meaning to living his life with no regrets. Adrian's goal is too keep his nose clean & finish out his parole without incident, while doing what he loves in the kitchen.

Teagan O'Malley is a paramedic and loves her job. She also loves her father who owns the Double Shot Bar and Grill. He is experiencing some health problems which cannot be ignored, so Teagan steps in to run the place while her Dad gets his diabetes under control. She is used to the bar and eatery scene because she has helped out for years. That being said, becoming the new chef is not what she had in mind. She doesn't know how to run a kitchen and she definitely doesn't know how to cook! This is where the fun begins in FIRE ME UP, trust me!

When Adrian makes a proposal to Teagan to help her out..She learns something from him and vice versa. You will see, and let me tell you, will love every minute of it. Then things get really interesting and intense during this time, and so many emotions will be felt. At first. Teagan gets angry when Adrian tells her what to do and how to do it, she gets angry. The sexual tension between the two of them is so thick it will drive you crazy. That is why you will be unable to put FIRE ME UP down until you finish!

I'm always excited when I read a new book by Kimberly Kincaid, because I know it's going to be a great read and it will provide me with mouth watering recipes to try. It was great to see the characters from the previous books make an appearance. If you're new to the series I would recommend starting from the beginning in order to understand the characters and their relationships, particularly Carly and Adrian's. But you can read each of them on their own without feeling lost. I love all of the Pine Mountain books and FIRE ME UP is a great addition to an awesome fun series. I always look forward to going back to visit again. I understand that All Wrapped Up is the next one in the series and I will be waiting impatiently for it's release.

SUMMARY

Teagan O’Malley can handle a crisis. She’s a paramedic, it’s her job. But she never expected to land in the kitchen of her father’s pub, with no notice, no cash, and no room for error. The kitchen is not her favorite place. Lucky for her, she just scraped a bad-boy chef off the pavement after a motorcycle accident—and something about him says he can turn up the heat in more ways than one.

Adrian Holt has had a rough few years, and he’s not eager to get tangled up in anything more complicated than a good risotto. But with a broken arm and a head full of bad memories, he needs a challenge to keep him sane. Teagan’s dare-me attitude and smoldering mess of a bar are just what the doctor ordered. And the two of them together might cook up some even better medicine…
