Holiday | Romance Contemporary

Olivia Bowen is back in town to take over her father's business. He passed away and they just buried him four days ago. Olivia has been running the hardware store for her mother. Ever since her father died, her mother has been acting strangely. She wants to sell Olivia's childhood home and that immediately sends up red flags for Olivia.

Ben and Olivia fell in love when he was a senior and she was a freshman. When he went off to college he broke her heart. She is determined not to let the same thing happen this time so when she runs into him, she acts all nonchalant. Do you think she is going to be able to resist him? Can she ignore him? He is super hot and oh so sexy and he still has very deep feelings for her. Ben knows he is the one who blew it when they were kids and he doesn't blame her for not paying any attention to him. Can he win her back? Can he heal her heart?? Read ONE FROSTY NIGHT to find out!

While Olivia is cleaning out her Dad's things for her mom she finds something that might explain why her mother is acting the way she is. It's a secret, one Olivia never knew and she is wondering if her mother knows? But how can she ask her? It isn't something you just come out and ask out of the blue! She wishes she had someone to talk to. Someone like Ben, but she and Ben are barely being polite to each other and why give the boy who broke your heart another chance at breaking it again??

ONE FROSTY NIGHT is filled with secrets and feelings left unsaid. You will be flipping the pages like crazy and before you know it, you will be done as you won't be able to stop until you reach the very last page.

ONE FROSTY NIGHT is perfect for a cold winters night, with you cozy on the couch with a blanket and a cup of coffee. That is how I read it and devoured every single page. This is only the second book by Janice Kay Johnson that I have read but I love the way she pulls you right in and never lets you go. I enjoyed it so much I want to read everything she has written. My only problem with that is she has written over sixty books--- where do I start? Hahaha!

ONE FROSTY NIGHT is loaded with mystery, so much so that it might just keep you up at night. You won't be able to go to sleep until you know what happens!

SUMMARY

Unexpected Christmas plans

Olivia Bowen would rather avoid this holiday season. Even her satisfaction at improving the family business doesn't make up for the loss of her beloved father and the sudden tension with her mother. Olivia questions how much longer she can live in her hometown. And her decision is further complicated by Ben Hovik.

She should keep her distance—he broke her heart years ago. Yet his compassion and their still-sizzling attraction are seductive. Could she be falling for him again? When she spends Christmas with Ben and his teenage son, she wonders if this might be the first of many more.
