Beau is known to have anger issues. Geir is quiet,
methodical one who has been the master trainer for the
Nyx's guards for a number of years. How is it possible
that
these two very different men, tiger shifters, can belong
to
the same woman? Jacki is a magic filled Selkie, from a
family of clawed shifters, lions mostly so she understands
them but, this beauty is conflicted because she never
expected to be torn between two men she considers HER
WARRIORS.
Having survived a battle with the evil Venifucus and
knowing there is more to come Jacki is introduced to
Bettina, a priestess of the Lady, who tells the younger
woman that her strength and goodness have been duly noted
and she is to be Bettina's successor. Jacki immediately
goes into training but still has a dilemma ... which of
HER
WARRIORS should she chose? And how to do so when her heart
claims both?
HER WARRIORS takes us back into author Bianca D'Arc's
world
of the Weres and their battle with the evil Venifucus.
This
one is more into the preparation that is bringing all the
Weres together knowing that the evil they face is not done
with them yet. It is also a rather remarkable inside look
at two men trying to figure out if they can get along
while
claiming the same woman as their mate. I thought it
interesting that once things began to settle that the hot
tempered Beau, seemed to be the least upset about the fate
that has been handed them than the calmer Geir. I also
loved seeing Bettina again and hearing about the Lords and
their Lady (from the original "Tales of the Were") and
watching past characters come back to play their part.
There are one or two that I hope will have their own story
because though they might be human, they are fighting for
the good guys. If you are looking for epic battles, there
isn't that much action aside from a little easy hunting
and
some bloody happenings in the Dojo, but there is a good
amount of drama and of course with Weres there has to be a
good share of steamy sex in the mix. I enjoyed the setting
up and preparation of what is coming and I cannot wait for
the next book in this series.
Love triangles are always more interesting when they come
equipped with claws…and flippers?
Beau has anger issues, but not when he’s around Jacki. The
fierce tiger shifter has been following her around like a
puppy, but she hasn’t taken notice of him…until now.
No matter how long Geir has lived in the States, he’s
still
the odd man out. A tiger shifter native of Iceland, he is
a
Master of his craft, training other warriors the skills he
has perfected. When he sees Jacki for the first time, he
knows she is the one for him.
Jacki is the privileged daughter of a prominent shifter
Clan. Most of her relatives are lion shifters, so she
knows
how to handle cats on the prowl, but she is a much rarer
selkie—a seal shifter—imbued with magic and surrounded by
mystery...with a few more curves than her cat-shifter
relatives.
When an opportunity arises to step into a key role in
shifter society, Jacki is uncertain, but willing to try.
And
when she’s told she doesn’t have to choose between the two
tigers, but rather, can have them both, she is more than
intrigued. But someone is stalking their path and they
must
work together to nullify the danger, all while trying to
figure out a complicated relationship that has all three
of
them questioning fate.
Warning: This story contains graphic language and menage a
trois between two tiger shifters and one very special
selkie
woman. Rawr.
