Princess Ulga or Ugg as she is known is from the mountain
kingdom. Up in the mountains life is hard and the people
harder. They live on the land and fight to survive.
Princess Ugg killed six giants herself in the last battle.
Now she goes down into the lowlands to learn how to be a
princess and does not understand their ways. She must
learn
hard lessons and try to understand those who are very
different from her in order to finish he quest.
PRINCESS UGG is a good story of battle, life and the
difference between people and how we must learn to accept
them. The best part of PRINCESS UGG is the art work and
watercolor sequences by Ted Naifeh. They are outstanding
and beautifully done. As a bonus if you down load it
there
are copies of the variant covers and additional art work.
I
will be off to the comic book store later to see if I can
find a few of them. The combination of both a good story
and great art work by Ted Nafifeh make PRINCESS UGG a
story
worth reading.
Princess Ülga isn't your standard princess, but her royal lineage goes back for generations. At her mother's bequest, Ülga travels to the city-state of Atraeska, where the prestigious Princess Academy lies, so that she can learn about things like diplomacy - hopefully for the benefit of her rough and tumble people. But Ülga will learn that she's more behind in her studies than she realized, and that when you're a princess, you're bound to have a few enemies.
