Caprice loves her work. Caprice rescues cocker spaniels.
She also stages house before they are sold. Caprice is
dating the man of her dreams, but that is another story.
Caprice's life also revolves around her family. One
sister Nicki, is a caterer. Nicki always helps out
Caprice
by catering the open houses that Caprice stages. Her
other sister Bella's life is in a mess.
Caprice is being pulled in three different ways. On top
of all
that, her sister Bella's old flame wants to reconnect with
her. The big problem is he is found dead. Bella and her
husband are the prime suspects. Caprice knows that there
is no way that these two had any thing to do with his
death.
DEADLY DECOR continues from Staged
to Death the first book in the Caprice DeLuca
Mystery series. This is one of the things that I
enjoy about an
author getting to see what happens to the characters
after the first book is done. DEADLY DECOR does
updates on all the characters from the first book.
DEADLY DECOR is a quick read, not boring at all. I did
enjoy reading
this book. DEADLY DECOR has everything someone would
want
in a cozy mystery.
Quiet Kismet, Pennsylvania, may look like any other small
town, but as a home stager, Caprice De Luca can see behind
closed doors--and it seems someone has designs on murder.
. .
Life is a full house for Caprice these days. She's dating,
she's rescuing adorable cocker spaniels, and she's
decorating the roomy interiors of Kismet's most well-
heeled
residents with fun fantasy themes. But she's worried about
her pregnant sister.
Bella's marriage is coming apart like a bad wallpaper job,
and to make matters worse, she's decided to meet up with a
former flame Bob Preston, a house painter Caprice
frequently
employs. When he's found dead in a pool of green paint
swirling with blood, it's time for Caprice to stage an
investigation. With all eyes trained on Bella's husband,
Caprice shifts her attention from finding the perfect
curtains to finding the perfect culprit. . .
