New Adult

ALL OF YOU is the first book in Christina Lee's New Adult Between Breaths Series.

Avery Michaels is a working, nursing student whose mother's bad decisions and worst taste in men has left her wanting nothing to so with love. Avery doesn't do relationships, she can only handle a string of uncomplicated, one night stands whenever the mood strikes her. She will allow them in her bed, but that is all.

Avery spots Bennett at a party and tries to make a pass at him, but he shows no interest. The next morning she finds out that he is the new tenant upstairs. He is sweet, a tattoo artist, and one of those rare guys who is waiting for love before losing his virginity.

Bennett Reynolds has always been the man in a house full of girls. He has always taken care of them. When his mother finally marries, he goes off to college to pursue his own career in art. Working at a local tattoo shop, Bennett sees something special in Avery, and wants more from her.

As Avery wrestles with her emotions for Bennett, a danger from her past surfaces and forces her to open up to Bennett in ways she never has anyone before. She must also face the fact that she wants more from him too. The choice she has to make is: Let him in or Let him go.

ALL OF YOU is Christina Lee's debut novel. Both Avery and Bennett come from similar home set ups, but instead of following down the past of their mothers' the two had to grow up earlier than other teens and both have a forged a path in their lives that could not be anymore opposites. For Bennett, that was waiting for love and taking care of his sisters. It also left him wanting more from a girl than just her body. As for Avery, due to what happened to her at the hands of her mother's boyfriend, Tim, she feels she doesn't need or deserve love in her life. If it weren't for the love she has for one of her patients, Mrs. Jackson, she might have passed on Bennett all together.

ALL OF YOU is a sweet romance with a bunch of sexual tension. As a first to this series, it certainly is a great start. This was one of those books that when you sit down to read it, you and immediately sucked into it and when it ends, you are left wanting more. I can not wait to see how Christina Lee continues this series.

SUMMARY

In this powerfully emotional New Adult novel, Avery has just met her hot upstairs neighbor.

He’s irresistible. Tattooed. And a virgin.

Nursing student Avery Michaels wants nothing to do with dating—she’s perfectly happy single. Privy to too many of her mother’s bad decisions and even worse taste in boyfriends, Avery can only handle a string of uncomplicated hookups whenever the mood strikes.

When she meets smoking-hot tattoo artist Bennett, she wants him—for just one night. But he won’t accept a no-strings-attached arrangement. He lives by a straitlaced code of values based on his own troubled upbringing.

Bennett sees something special in Avery, and he wants more from her. Way more. As Avery wrestles with her emotions for Bennett, danger and tragedy force them to open up to each other. And Avery must face the terrifying realization that she wants more from him too.

So she needs to make a choice: Let Bennett go or finally let him in.
