Romance Suspense

Eden Sinclair, said to be the most beautiful woman in the world, is in trouble. Someone from her family's past now has her in their sights. She is use to bodyguards as a famous model but never in her life has she faced danger. When a sniper takes a pot shot at her things become very frightening. In no time at all her world changes just as simply as WHEN DAY BREAKS ... in a way she only dreamed.

Daryl "Swanny" Swanson is now a member of KGI and the Kelly family but he has a history with Ryker "Sin" Sinclair and the man's very hot sister. As soon as he found out she was the one in trouble there was no way he wouldn't be there to help his friend. But Swanny has a problem ... he has been scarred up by the enemy and cannot see this beauty even looking at him without being repulsed. He is shocked ... surprised and thrilled when they finally meet face to face.

With every book a reader opens they hope to escape, to be taken away. WHEN DAY BREAKS does that, but with a little twist. Just when you fall into the sweet romance ... wham ... you are knocked back into the danger zone. I loved this book ... both Eden and Swanny felt real. She saw with her heart not her eyes and he soon understands that what she says is the truth ... to her he is beautiful. He might not believe his luck but he also will take what she so lovingly offers and give back all he can ... his heart. Love is blind and author Maya Banks makes this delightful and believable.

This is one book that I did not want to put down with its perfect blend of tender and sizzle, action and comedic relief. (Picture a couple of macho guys in a dress shop and you will see what I mean.) I believe of the KGI books by Ms. Banks that WHEN DAY BREAKS is my favorite so far, but then again I am more than looking forward to her next offering.

SUMMARY

The Kelly Group International (KGI): A super-elite, top secret, family-run business. Qualifications: High intelligence, rock-hard body, military background. Mission: Hostage/kidnap victim recovery. Intelligence gathering. Handling jobs the U.S. government can’t…

Eden is said to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her face has graced countless magazines and her body has sold millions of dollars of clothing. But her fame and beauty has earned her more than she ever imagined. Evil is stalking her, determined to extinguish the ethereal beauty forever.

Swanson or “Swanny” as his teammates call him is always up for the next mission. He came back from Afghanistan wounded and scarred. Hardly the kind of man who even belongs in the same room with Eden. And yet there’s something about the quiet beauty that stirs his blood and makes him dream of the impossible. Because Beauty loving the Beast only happens in fairy tales and KGI doesn’t deal in fairy tales. Ever.
