Devon Reid decides that she needs a change when she finds her fiancé cheating on her. She packs everything up and leaves, heading to California. One night Devon meets the sexy and mysterious Zack St. Brenton. Zack is the owner of a multi-billion dollar company. The attraction between the two is instant and they can't seem to take their eyes off each other.

Just when Devon thinks that everything is going well Zack suddenly leaves warning her that she needs to stay away from him. Later that night Zack meets up with Devon to offer her a job at his company as an apology. Devon needs the job so she applies. Soon their relationship is going from the employer/employee stage to the heating up the sheets stage. Both Devon and Zack have been hurt in the past and are leery about starting a serious relationship. Can these two let go of their past problems and hurt to find their happy ending?

SURRENDER TO TEMPTATION was originally published as a six part novella series. I am glad that I got to read them all at once because if I had to wait for each one to come out I would have gone crazy waiting to find out how certain things turned out. SURRENDER TO TEMPTATION is a very well written erotica book. The plot is captivating and there are plenty of hot and steamy scenes.

I loved how relatable Devon's character is. She is this shy and unsecure woman but at the same time she stands up for what she knows she deserves. Zack's character was a little bit different. He was very dominating both in the work place and in the bedroom but I did not like how sometimes he acted toward Devon. There is a lot of the push and pull between them that reminded me of a certain very popular erotic trilogy. Other than that SURRENDER TO TEMPTATION is a very entertaining read and I will be looking for more books by Lauren Jameson in the future.

SUMMARY

In this stunning romance, Lauren Jameson presents a story of unexpected desire in which two strangers play a dangerous game in the quest for incredible pleasure. But winning comes with a price....

After walking in on her boyfriend with another woman, Devon Reid decides to seek solace in the small California town she’s often visited on vacation. Instead, she finds herself consumed by a mysterious man who sets her ablaze with one simple look.

Devon has always been the good girl, but Zach’s touch turns her into something primal, especially when he persuades her to give up control to him. But while Zach can make her burn, he seduces Devon one moment and turns her away the next.

When Devon starts her new job at Phyrefly Aviation, she learns that Zach is actually founder and CEO of the massive corporation. And while Devon knows she should keep things between them strictly professional, his overwhelming magnetism makes it impossible to stay away....
