After defeating the vicious Samuel Parris, Hadley just wants
to spend the summer relaxing with her gorgeous boyfriend,
Asher. When the coven decides that practicing magic might be
a better plan, the gang goes off to witch summer school.
When they get there, they run into someone Hadley never knew
existed: Asher's equally gorgeous ex, Brooklyn. After pranks
start going around the school, Hadley is certain Brooklyn is
behind it, but when her coven doesn't back her up, she will
have to find justice herself.
Though I haven't read the first two books in the Life's a
Witch trilogy, Brittany Geragotelis makes you feel
perfectly at home from the first chapter with the unique and
kick-butt witches in THE WITCH IS BACK. Already, you can
tell Hadley is used to being in charge and wears her
confidence like this season's top color. She is fiercely
loyal to her coven and completely head over heels for Asher.
When she goes to the witch school, it's clear her game is
thrown off, especially with Brooklyn around. She is a girl
uncertain of herself for the first time (or at least the
first time in a long time), and she's doing her best to get
her mojo back.
I absolutely adore the fight she puts up to find out what's
going around in the woods and with her coven when they start
to lose interest in her. The secondary characters in the
coven and with Collette have such distinct personalities and
add so much fun life to the story.
For fans of HEXED or any witchy story, THE WITCH IS BACK is
the perfect book to grab. While I think the story is backed
up enough to be read alone, the characters are so lovable
that I would suggest reading the whole trilogy. Brittany
Geragotelis has a magical way of writing, and I wish I had a
spell to make more of her books appear!
When two gorgeous, popular witches clash over a man, it’s
magical mayhem in this conclusion to the Life’s a Witch
trilogy!
It’s been a trying year for teen witch Hadley Bishop—she led
her coven into battle against the Parrishables and lost her
mother in a surprise attack. Now that the Parrishables and
their leader, Samuel Parris, have been defeated, Hadley is
looking forward to a relaxing, love-filled summer with
boyfriend Asher Astley.
Hadley’s summer plans take an unexpected turn though when
she and her coven head off to a witchy summer intensive.
Once there, Hadley immediately finds herself in a power
struggle with Brooklyn Sparks. Like Hadley, Brooklyn is
gorgeous and popular, but she’s also…Asher’s ex-girlfriend?!
As if this news isn’t enough to rattle Hadley, there are
rumors of a rogue witch in the woods, and someone is playing
dangerous pranks around camp. Hadley suspects that Brooklyn
is behind the pranks, but is she willing to risk losing her
friends and Asher to prove it? In this electrifying
conclusion to the Life’s a Witch series, Hadley will
discover that love is more powerful than any spell—but it
comes with a price.
