The Novel Idea Literary Agency is sponsoring a festival.
They've invited some famous cooks who have new cookbooks
coming out.
Lila and the others will learn that the personality the cook
reflects on the air isn't always reality based as they work
with the chefs. When one of the chefs is killed, Lila must
find out what happens so that Taste of the Town doesn't end
after its first year.
As Lila investigates, she will learn that everyone's
favorite chef, is a phony. The recipes she is so famous for
aren't even hers. Her personal life is a mess and it
appears the killer was really after her.
BOOKS, COOKS, AND CROOKS will keep the reader enthralled
even as they despise the chef who is the obsession of the
killer.
