Sixth Grave On The Edge

Paranormal

After the panic-inducing end of the last book in the series, Darynda Jones teases her readers until they are begging for more. With Charley Davidson's answer still lingering in the air, a lot has been going on. Charley must hunt down a witness who plans to testify against their boss, a dangerous man involved in local crime. If she doesn't find him with her 48 hours time-frame, more trouble is heading her way.

Meanwhile, Charley has been investigating on her own when she finds the files of Reyes' child abduction case. Despite Reyes telling her to give it up, Charley's ADD personality is suddenly focused on the past.

SIXTH GRAVE ON THE EDGE possesses the same signature wit, humor and action as the previous books in the series. Darynda Jones never fails to make me laugh until my sides split. Each sentence, each word somehow brings a smile on your face despite if it's a humorous scene or an action scene. From the cover to the very last page, this book is pure entertainment!

There are a lot of questions still left unanswered. As the sixth book in the series, I was hoping to get some of those answers revealed. However, Jones leaves her readers hanging on the precipice of anticipation. There isn't much advancement in the romance until the very end. However, that final scene will definitely cause a commotion within readers. Until then, I will be hanging on the edge, waiting to know what happens next!

SUMMARY

Sometimes I wrestle my demons. Sometimes we just snuggle. —Bumper Sticker Most girls might think twice before getting engaged to someone like Reyes Farrow—but Charley Davidson is not most girls. She’s a paranormal private eye and grim reaper-in-training who’s known to be a bit of a hell-raiser, especially after a few shots of caffeine. Her beloved Reyes may be the only begotten son of evil, but he’s dark and sultry and deeply sexy and everything Charley could hope for. Really. But when the FBI file on Reyes’ childhood happens to land into her lap, she can’t help herself: She opens it...and then the real fun begins. First, Charley finds a naked corpse riding shotgun in her car. Then, a man loses his soul in a card game. Throw in a Deaf boy who sees dead people, a woman running from mobsters, and a very suspicious Reyes, and things can’t get any worse for Charley. Unless, of course, the Twelve Beasts of Hell are unleashed…Sixth Grave on the Edge is the sixth Charley Davidson novel from bestselling author Darynda Jones
