Airiana Ridell has an extraordinary gift. She can
see "patterns" in the air around her. Her AIR BOUND
abilities brought her into a secret government training
facility as a child, but her life changed when her mother
was murdered. She fled the program to find home with
her "sisters" in a magical harbor town called Sea Haven.
Airiana has no way of knowing she is about to fall into a
complex world with only one person she could look to for
help.
Maxim Prakenskii comes into her life as a kidnapper, but is
he a good guy or one of the very bad men she finds herself
surrounded by? Max has his reasons for being involved with
Airi. He might have a price on his head, but he now finds he
has a reason to live...if the two of them can survive the
evil that comes their way.
AIR BOUND is action packed, with danger, and a sizzling
romance. The Sea Haven novels take us back to the
town of Sea Haven where the Drake Sisters reside and
the tantalizing arrival of the Prakenskii brothers adds
much spice to these young women who are making a life of
their own. When Max enters the storyline, you really aren't
sure if he is a good guy or not, but as the story continues,
you find his protective stance very telling. Airiana is
fantastic. She is strong and smart and immediately knows
who Max is and knows she can trust him. There are many
happenings in this book that will give the reader a
very good look at what is really going on inside Max, and
you can easily see what has drawn the intuitive Airiana to
him.
Author Christine Feehan puts a lot of twists and turns in
AIR BOUND as she reveals all the evil they come up against,
but tempers this with an amazing amount of love and
tenderness. AIR BOUND is a book you cannot bear to put down
until the final page...then you don't want to wait for the
next one in the series. I have AIR BOUND in my "to be read
again" shelf and am impatiently waiting for the next
amazing gift from Ms. Feehan.
For as far back as she can remember, Airiana Ridell has
always been aware of her extraordinary gift. She can
intuit
revealing and illuminating “patterns” in the air around
her—whether in a spray of mist, in billowing clouds, or
in
the dense swirls of an impenetrable fog. Her abilities
led
to her placement in a secret government training facility
when she was a child, but everything changed after her
mother was murdered.
Airiana fled the program, but she couldn’t outrun the
desperate members of a shadowy cabal who want her, who
need
her, who will kill to get her. Kidnapped and held aboard
a
ship bound for dangerous seas, her only chance for rescue
is
Maxim Prakenskii. He has his reasons for helping her, but
he
isn’t about to reveal them to Airiana. Not yet. Not as
the
two are drawn together as moth to flame. Not when there
are
so many secrets yet untold that could shatter the quaint
community of Sea Haven and all who reside there…
