Romance Paranormal
People love to be frightened, or so the residence of Penny
Hollow, Va., believe and they plan to revitalize their town
into the "Most Haunted Town in Virginia." It will be the
place where visitors come and say go ahead and ... HAUNT ME.
Mackenzie Dillon inherits a great-aunts house at a perfect
time. She has gone through a nasty divorce, lost her muse
as a writer and needs to start over. Except for the
numerous offers for the house she is settling in and
feeling ready for a fresh start. She has no plans on
selling out no matter how handsome the offer .... or how
handsome the offerer might be.
Justin Kent is only back home to fulfill his father's will
and has now run into a very big problem with the plans for
a quick fix which would allow him to get back to his life
out of this town. The Summerfield house is the center of
the haunting and now instead of him being given a chance to
buy it he finds Katherine Summerfield had left it to her
niece. The last thing he expects is to become attracted to
the bane of his existence. He never guessed the Mac would
be a feisty beauty.
But things are even stranger than believed in Summerfield
house. Suddenly an old tragedy mixes into a new love story.
Can the ending of the past lovers story be changed or will
the new lovers fall prey to the past?
HAUNT ME will do just that ... it will haunt you if you try
to put it down. I loved watching Justin try and fight his
attraction to Mac because he wants nothing to change his
plans. It was interesting how Mac began to write the story
of the house not realizing just how integral the past would
affect the present. She wants a happy ending for the ghost
and for herself. Without giving away too much it is hard to
describe some of the scenes where the past and present mix
but it will grip the reader in such a way that will
captivate you until the final words. I really do hope
author Heather Long plans to take us back to Penny Hollow
for more scares and romance.
