Fans of the Beautiful series will have another reason
to
rejoice! Jamie McGuire gifts readers with a special
installment to the series featuring the events that lead up
to the most important day of Abby and Travis's lives.
In this short, but potent novella, McGuire captures the true
essence of Abby and Travis's romance. Both of them are
feeling anxiety as they make this unexpected, but destined
leap into the future. Adding to the pressure is the threat
of the unknown as Travis tries to flee a disastrous event
that guilts him into doing the right thing. However, Abby
isn't allowing her man to give up that easily.
Though all the events are swift in this novella, it doesn't
make it any less romantic. McGuire still manages to find
beautiful moments amidst the chaos and I think that's really
where the beauty lies with this series. So much happens in
these novels in terms of drama, but the focus is still on
the romance between Travis and Abby.
A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING solidifies my love for the bad boy
Travis Maddox. As if he couldn't get any more swoonworthy,
McGuire reconnects with her readers and gives them no
chance of turning away. I believe this quote from the book
aptly describes everything this series entails: "A Maddox
boy will take you all the way to the edge, but if you go
with him, he'll follow you anywhere..."
SUMMARY
YOU KNOW THAT ABBY ABERNATHY UNEXPECTEDLY BECAME MRS.
MADDOX. BUT WHAT DO YOU REALLY KNOW?
Why did Abby pop the question? What secrets were shared before the ceremony? Where did they spend their wedding night? Who else knew about it . . . and didn’t tell? Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret
. . . until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking
Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this
whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!)—and as with
all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth
the wait.
