Romance Paranormal

Laura Black has worked for Charon Bruce for two years and was satisfied with the work but had been slowly falling in love with her secretive boss and he did not reciprocate those feelings. At least he never allowed himself to feel what she feels because he's afraid she will become MIDNIGHT'S CAPTIVE.

Charon is a man with secrets, big ones. He is a Warrior, a champion with a god bound inside him that makes him into a monster who fights for good. Laura has a large part of him but she isn't a Druid mie she will never understand what he is and not fear him.

However, Laura has a secret, one she doesn't even know about, that finally comes out in an explosive encounter. With fear, mistrust and an evil after her there is only one person she can turn to but can he trust her now ... especially with his heart.

MIDNIGHT'S CAPTIVE is just that ... captivating. This book is action packed as the warriors fight the evil that threatens the world. You will see the deep camaraderie among them and their mates as they go about life in between the battles. Then of course added in the mix is a very bad guy who wants to destroy them all. I love Charon and Laura; they are perfect for each other, with their secrets that slowly come out along with the acknowledgment of their feelings for each other. Author Donna Grant packs in a number of side storylines in this one book but with an ease that makes the reading flow. She also managed to add another interesting group into the mix as allies to the warriors that is unexpected and exciting. No spoiler here you will have to read the book to find out who ... or what these allies are. Ms. Grant continues her winning ways with this book.
