Romance Paranormal
MORGAN'S FATE finds twins Morgan and Magnus Grimm returning
from a search looking for a Skuld, Norn of the Future, only
to find that she has amnesia and has been living right
under their noses.
Now named Skylar Kincaide she is living among crazy people.
They swear they are Old Norse Gods but she finds herself
not afraid but intrigued. There is something about the
situation that strikes a chord with her especially the red
headed Morgan who seems to want to protect her even though
she has much more on her mind than protection.
As the memories return she is shocked. Having overstepped
the bounds of the rules of her life and changing the fates
of those who mean the most to her she has lost all her
powers, she is no longer the Norn of the Future. Sky finds
herself more than willing to journey to Valhalla itself to
protect the people who have become so important to her.
Even Morgan might not be able to protect her from what fate
has planned.
MORGAN'S FATE is a fascinating look into a world of the
Norse Gods with a very modern day twist. Morgan and his
twin Magnus are hot and Sky is beautiful but the real story
to me was the interaction of these Norse gods as a family
unit. I will admit that I got a little confused as I read
this book because I know very little about Norse mythology
but the romance and drama of the book carried me through.
There are some explicit scenes especially one involving a
kitchen table and some graphic swearing in more than one
language which had me actually laughing. Author Dana Marie
Bell, her vivid imagination and Norse God knowledge, has an
intriguing book that will have readers wanting more.
SUMMARY
His Fate is finally in front of him…and he’s never letting
go. True Destiny, Book 4 Morgan and Magnus Grimm return from their search for Skuld,
Norn of the Future, only to find that she’s been living
under their noses this whole time. Now that Morgan finally
has the woman of his dreams within reach, nothing—not
amnesia, not Odin, not even his father’s death—will prevent
him from claiming the Fate he’s wanted for centuries. Skylar Kincade is lost among these crazy people who swear
that they’re the old Norse gods. But…there’s something that
strikes a chord deep within her. Something from which the
hot, redheaded Morgan wants to protect her. But when the memories burst free, there’s no softening the
devastating blow. For overstepping her bounds and changing
their fates to save their lives, her powers were stripped
away, leaving her as just another Norn. And it seems more punishment is coming down: one of Logan’s
children is missing. Skye is determined to do her part to
make it right—by journeying all the way to Valhalla to meet
a fate from which Morgan may not be able to save her. Warning: This novel contains explicit nookie on a kitchen
table, graphic language in one or more dialects, and a Fate
worth living for.
