Chance McGregor is a Dominion Creek Pack Guardian. It's his
job to protect the pack and its laws. Right now he has to
find his true mate or be mated to someone of the council's
choosing. Their old law states if the true mate isn't found
by a certain age the pack council will find one for you. He
has no idea that A CHANCE OF FATE is about to lay him low.
Stephanie Taylor is fresh out of a bad marriage, starting
up a new business in a new town. She is in control of her
life finally, even if it is a little boring, it's good
because this means there's no man telling her what to do
anymore.
An unintended meeting sends Chance's world spiraling, in a
good way. She's a human but his soul and wolf don't care.
Stephanie belongs to him. Now all he has to do is talk her
into believing they are meant to be together, get the
council off his back and allow the mating and on top of it
protect everyone from rogue wolves. Oh and let her know
he's a shifter. Right ... he has absolutely nothing to worry
about.
A CHANCE OF FATE is fantastic. It carries you along so
swiftly with the action, emotions and intriguing surprises
that the reader will be startled to find they are on the
last page. Author Emleigh Walsh knows what readers want and
provides it in spades. There are gorgeous shifters, a not
so helpless heroine, evil protagonists and an awesome world
they all live in. I certainly hope there are going to be
more Dominion Creek Pack stories, because I am ready
to
read them.
Chance McGregor is known as one of the toughest werewolves
around. As the Dominion Creek Pack Guardian it's his job to
protect the pack and its laws. Even if that requires him to
find his true mate or mate with someone of the council's
choosing. With the Mating Ceremony fast approaching - and
Chance a very unwilling participant - he has more on his
mind than pack safety. It's enough to make even the baddest
werewolf whine like a puppy.
SHE'S IN CONTROL
Stephanie Taylor is finally making her way in the world.
She's out of a bad marriage, starting a business with her
best friend in a great new town, and in control of her
stable - if not sometimes boring - life. She can handle
boring and she doesn't need a man to tell her what's best
for her anymore.
WHAT'S A WOLF TO DO?
When Chance runs into Stephanie on the street, he realizes
that he found his woman. The problem is she's a human. Not a
problem for him though. Now all he has to do is convince her
that they are meant to be together forever; talk the
ever-meddling pack council into allowing the mating; and
protect his pack from a group of rogue wolves wreaking havoc
across the state. With their hearts, and lives, on the line
Chance and Stephanie will do the only thing they can...
