Erotic | Romance Erotica Sensual

Jace Crestwell is a wealthy man partnered with friends Ash and Gabe, who is use to getting what he wants and he has set his sights on pretty Bethany Willis. For the first time ever what he is feeling is more than a temporary FEVER. He feels so jealous and obsessed toward her that he will forgo his usual sharing with his best friend Ash to keep her all to himself.

Bethany grew up in foster care and during the last few years homeless on the street. She has a past she isn't proud of but when Ash offers her a night with him and his buddy Jace she finds herself accepting. She has no way of knowing how that choice will change her whole life.

FEVER is a steamy, seductive, funny roller coaster ride that you will not be able to put down. I read this book in one setting; way into the early morning hours because I had to see how it ends. I loved Jace and the way he built up his friends into a family along with his little sister Mia, showing the depth of his feelings to those not of blood but of the heart. I am a sucker for that kind of thing. I did have a little trouble with his bad tempered out bursts, though he does warn Bethany about that aspect of his personality, it still lead to some unnecessary problems between him and her and even Ash. Through the pages I began to understand Bethany's feelings of disbelief that Jace would want more than a couple of nights because of how she grew up and the painful lack of self-respect because of choices she made to survive.

There is a lot of hot, creative sex and some mild domination that comes into play. It seemed interesting that Jace claimed he would dominate every aspect of her life but because of the love he feels he always gives her an option.

This is book two of The Breathless Trilogy by bestselling author Maya Banks. Gabe and Mia's story is in book one Rush. I cannot wait to see what happens to Ash in the third book Burn.
