Holiday | Romance

Rodeo riders Boone and Dallas are strolling through a casino when they spy two lovely ladies. Little do they know one of them is about to win big time - and not just on the slot machines.

With a name like COWBOY JACKPOT CHRISTMAS, foreseeably a large win is involved. But when Boone and the girl he kissed for luck, Gieselle, come back down to earth and go to see about their payout, the fact that Boone doesn't feel entitled to a share is irrelevant - he put in the final dollar of three and pulled the lever of the slot machine. Gieselle had already wasted a hundred dollars on that machine but says that half of a $257,000 payout is plenty for her. As it's the Christmas holiday season the casino needs time to make arrangements, and offers their party two nights in the hotel and spending money.

Boone returns to his friend Dallas and his young brother Jay while Giesele returns to her pal Kira who came to Vegas to help her celebrate her birthday. And what a birthday it turns out to be! The five eat, drink and make merry, dancing the night away to a country band. They are determined not to gamble the money away so they go out on the town instead. The girls are loving the contrast because they come from New York, where Gieselle is finishing up a Masters in business. She hopes to open her own firm with the payout. Boone has his own plans to open a rodeo school and this win could help it happen sooner. The one thing Boone has promised himself not to do is to get romantically involved with a girl while on the circuit. His friend Dallas has promised to keep him straight and while he might not feel that way himself, when he suspects Boone is getting involved after a heady night in Gieselle's room, he deliberately gets Boone to indulge in some texted trash talk about the girl. But cellphones don't keep secrets very well, and Giesele starts to regret ever meeting the man of her dreams....

COWBOY JACKPOT CHRISTMAS is a fun, sexy romp from popular Western romance writer Randi Alexander. You know it's a fantasy, but make the time to indulge.

SUMMARY

A lucky first kiss in front of a Las Vegas slot machine pays off big for bull rider Boone Hancock and New York college student Gigi Colberg-Staub. During the day they spend together as VIP guests of the casino, an intense attraction develops. Throughout the night they share in the big bed of the comped suite, hot, sensual moves ignite wild climaxes.

When Gigi receives a miscommunication, she believes Boone thinks of her as one-night buckle bunny. She confronts him, but Boone convinces himself it's best for both of them if she goes on believing that, and he lets her walk out of his life. When he realizes his mistake, and then sees the sacrifice Gigi made for him, is it too late to win her back?
