Lucie Miller is a physical therapist who gives everything to
her patients. She has an unrequited crush on Dr. Stephen
Mann -- director of Sports Medicine. So, she's even more
willing to stay late to work on any case involving him. She
doesn't have much of a social life -- doesn't really date --
just a weekly dart game with her best friends. Reid Andrews has been an MMA fighter for fifteen years and
he's one of the richest fighters in the world. But he's
also 34 and that's getting old for a fighter. And he has a
shoulder injury that he needs to rehab in a very short
period of time so he can be ready for a title fight. Reid walks into Lucie's physical therapy clinic because his
coach has sent him for rehab away from training camp in
hopes he will be able to train better away from the
distractions of camp. Reid and Lucie's older brother were
best friends growing up, so they were both very surprised,
but happy to see each other again. Reid hires Lucie to work
with him exclusively for 8 weeks and once he realizes that
she has a dilemma regarding Dr. Mann -- he agrees to train
her in a way as well. Reid offers to train Lucie in the
ways of seduction -- he'll teach her how to seduce a man
during the time they are working together. Will Reid and
Lucie be able to keep things impersonal? Or will they give
in to temptation and take things to a more personal level? SEDUCING CINDERELLA is a finely written erotic romance with
plenty of light-hearted moments and true to life characters.
I felt Ms. Maxwell's gave an accurate portrayal of the MMA
world and physical therapy. She did a great job of showing
the hard work that truly goes into physical therapy and I
felt she didn't just gloss over MMA, but showed the
"underbelly" as well. This book was very enjoyable and I
recommend you add it to you to be read list.
