Romance Paranormal

Dr. Morgan Sterling is an assistant medical examiner in Babylon, formerly New York. She's working on trying to find the cause of the Manhattan virus that has been striking Babylon and killing its residents for months. The virus virtually turns the victims into zombies before killing them

Luniel is a fallen angel -- a member of the Tainted Host. When he finds the water at the shores of Liberty Island has turned to blood and the fish have died and turned belly up; he calls on the other fallen angels in the tainted Host. It appears that the End of Days has started, and quite likely the vials are not in the hands of the angels, but the Devil himself has gotten ahold of them.

Luniel goes in search of his brother Ithiel, he finds him in the morgue. And he meets Morgan. Luniel and Morgan join forces as they search for answers to the Manhattan virus and the ocean turning to blood. As they are searching for clues to the End of Days, their feelings for each other grow stronger each day, until they are no longer able to deny their feelings.

REVELATION is a fast-paced, sci-fi fantasy novel about the End of Days that rivals Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. This is the first book in a new series -- The Seven Signsand I'm anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. Erica Hayes has done a wonderful job building characters that I quickly became invested in and her world building is outstanding. Babylon is really not that difficult to imagine happening if things don't change in the way we're living our lives today. REVELATION is a must read if you enjoy Laurell K. Hamilton.

SUMMARY

A fallen angel with a mission and a medical examiner who’s lost her faith are fighting for their souls in a glittering, near-future Manhattan…

Blind faith is for fools. That’s what Dr. Morgan Sterling believes. And she’s going to prove it by curing the zombie plague ravaging her city’s slums. She’s certain it’s not a sign of the End of Days, but a nasty disease—until an angel appears in her morgue in a flash of glory.

Luniel is not just a fallen angel. He’s a powerful warrior sworn to fight evil in hopes of a chance at redemption. He’s after the demon princes who are stealing the seven vials of holy wrath which, when perverted, will unleash eternal hell on earth.

To stop the plague, Luniel needs Morgan’s help, and her faith. But Morgan believes science is their salvation. If the zombie plague is a demonic curse—and if Luniel is true—he’ll have to prove it. Even if he loses his heart to true love or his soul to Hell…
