HOLIDAY HAVEN, Vicki Lewis Thompson -- Tansy Deter, Director of The Haven, is devoted to her no kill animal shelter. Meeting Ben Rhodes, cameraman for KFOR TV in Tacoma, Washington while appealing for support at Christmas for her animals, is just the beginning of new found love and a time of healing. Ben has a fear of loving anyone or anything for fear of losing them as has happened as a child while living with his aunt and uncle. Tansy sees the sadness and insecurity in Ben while falling helplessly in love with him. It is not within her, though, to let someone in her life that cannot care for and love a pet. Ben's epiphany nearly arrives too late to salvage a future full of love and happiness.

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, Catherine Mann -- Shelby Dawson-Conrad is taking a short vacation from her teaching job to transport 3 shelter dogs from The Haven to their perspective adoptive homes around Washington State. With her marriage nearing a divorce and her husband, Alex, returning home from deployment, this will be an opportunity to hash over their plans while traveling. Chemistry is still there for both of them and the trek across the state reveals the deep rooted secrets they have both kept to themselves until now. The mutual love of pets helps to bring realization to the forefront as to what is really important to them.

A PUPPY FOR WILL, Kathie DeNosky -- Will Parker is coerced by his grandmother into volunteering to foster a dog over the Christmas holidays for The Haven. Will, raised by his grandmother, reluctantly agrees with the condition he was not giving the over sized puppy a forever home. Crystal Cove Floating Home Community in Seattle is not equipped for this. Harley, capable of opening the front door, disappears down the pier and ends up being the cause for Macie Fairbanks and Will to meet. Trouble is apparent as Macie is the reviewer for Techno Nerd Monthly and has given some critical reviews on Will's programming ability. His profession as a software engineer has been under scrutiny. As their romance deepens, so does Macie's fear that when Will discovers she is " the" Ms. Tera Byte who has labeled his work, she will lose the love just found.

Rescuing Christmas is a trio of delightful Christmas tales which are sure to please the animal lover in all of us. Three couples believe love is lost forever and have been brought together with renewed love by their adoption of a pet from The Haven. These are heartwarming tales at a time of the year made for forgiving and renewed love.

SUMMARY

Holiday Haven by Vicki Lewis Thompson

All Ben Rhodes wants for Christmas is to be left alone. And yet, in a fit of Christmas-cheer-induced insanity, he agrees to help beautiful shelter director Tansy Dexter find homes for all her rambunctious animals. Little does he know that the one truly in need of a loving home this season...is him.

Home for Christmas by Catherine Mann

Shelby Conrad has had more than her fair share of silent nights. But even though her husband, Tech Sergeant Alex Conrad, is coming home in time for Christmas, Shelby isn't sure he's in time to save their marriage. Can a road trip to deliver three shelter dogs to their new homes teach the couple that the most precious gift of all is hope?

A Puppy for Will by Kathie DeNosky
