Romance

Ellie Livingston is baking up a storm. Anyone who knows Ellie knows if she is baking she is upset about something. So when her sister shows up and sees a kitchen full of baked goods she knows something bad must have happened. Ellie opens up to her sister about the sexist behavior of her supervisor and how she never feels like she is getting nowhere in the world of Marketing. All they see is a pretty face, sexy body that her co-workers and supervisors don't hear anything she has to say. Ellie decides to use her talent for cooking to have a Men only cooking class sure that this will be the perfect way to create her own destiny and become the success she deserves.

Pete Webster is a single father to two young children. Pete works hard but makes sure that he always has time for his kids. Pete's parents had no business having children and Pete is determined to be the parent to his kids that he never had. Pete's ex-wife is more interested in her modeling career than being a mother so Pete is ensuring that he is everything for his children. Pete has tried dating but hasn't found the woman who he could love and trust with his children. Pete's sister wants him to get out more so she signs him up for a Men only cooking class that he can use to get some time away from the kids as well as improve his much left to be desired cooking.

FOR MEN ONLY is an intelligent business proposition for Ellie and makes for a charming story. I appreciated Ellie taking her future into her own hands and making herself a success. Ellie wants to hate Pete for the disastrous blind date they once had but she finds him endearing. Pete adores Ellie and wants a chance to win her over. They seem perfect for each other but Ellie has her mind set on success and Pete wants a family. Can Ellie have her success and a family? Can Pete love and trust another woman who puts her career before a family? FOR MEN ONLY will delight you and charm you from the beginning and keep you captive through the end.

SUMMARY

A brash single dad and a beautiful, ambitious cooking teacher follow the recipe for romance in this delectable treat from beloved author Sally Goldenbaum. The first time they met, Pete Webster had been the blind date from hell. Ellie Livingston hoped never to see him again. Now Pete’s a student in the cooking class she’s designed just for men, and he looks good enough to eat! But Ellie’s afraid that a relationship is off the table: Falling for a man with kids—no matter how adorable—would simply be biting off more than she can chew. Since his wife left him, Pete has learned that his gourmet cuisine—like his specialty, peanut butter and egg sandwiches—just won’t cut it for two growing children. He’s also learned not to trust beautiful women. But Ellie, with her sparkling passion and spicy personality, is for real, even if she doesn’t see him the same way. Now it’s up to Pete to go off the lesson plan and cook up a little trouble—in the kitchen and the bedroom. Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: Deep Autumn Heat, The Last Warrior, and Kevin’s Story.
