Sarah Landon swore she would never go back home once she
left. But you know what they say about "never say never!"
Sarah Landon escaped from tiny Two Shot, Wyoming, to go to
an Ivy League school and did well for herself. But her
sister needs her now, and that has brought Sarah back to
Wyoming. Now it's up to her to face the nightmares that
haunted her teenage years. Taking a job working in public
relations for the Carrigan Oil Company soon means that
Sarah now has to relate to the residents of the town she
was desperate to get away from. And it also means relating
to her boss's brother, rodeo cowboy Lane Carrigan, a rich
man who doesn't just play at being a cowboy, he is a cowboy.
Lane's brother Eric wants to drill for oil on their
family's ranch. But Lane's so attached to the land he can't
stomach the thought of it being polluted or spoiled. He's
also seen what those kinds of projects do to small towns -
bringing in transient workers who ruin them before leaving.
Sarah is determined to change Lane's mind, but as the two
struggle to come to terms in regards to the land and the
oil, they soon find a spark between them that is undeniable
in its intensity. Could the love they find heal the
nightmares and tragedies and lead the way to a life that's
worth the living for both of them?
Joanne Kennedy's novel, COWBOY CRAZY, is an emotional
tender romance with just the right touch of intensity,
intrigue and humor to make it a pleasurable experience for
readers. Kennedy's characters are complex with secrets that
they're running away from. The love scenes in this book are
plentiful, but tastefully done and add to the overall drama
of the story. Fans of fast-paced, contemporary romances
will enjoy this tale of love in the Wild West.
