Romance Series
When living through a traumatic event you'd think having a
lapse of memory would be a blessing. But not remembering
why you have feelings of dread and no knowledge of who or
what is causing them is not reassuring but dangerous. In
FOREVER CHRISTMAS we are kept in the dark searching for
answers along with the characters.
On the run for her life Angel wakes up in a room surrounded
by two complete strangers. One man is Gabe the deputy who
rescued her from falling over a ravine and the other is the
doctor who gives her the news that her memory loss will
probably be temporary and not to worry. Somehow she knows
this is definitely a cause for worry.
She also feels that Gabe must think her a bit crazy but
although she has no reason to distrust him or any of these
other seemingly lovely people; she has no reason to trust
anybody. Luck had definitely been on "Angels" side when she
landed in the town of Forever. This was a place where
people care about their neighbors and as long as you are
there you are never alone. Angel doesn't know why but not
being alone sounds so good.
Recovering your memory takes time and patience with each
memory like a building block. Hopefully the more you
accumulate the larger the window of your past you can see.
That's what Angel has to do -- find the building blocks of
her life -- even if some are less than secure and safe. The
big question is just who will she be once her memory
returns.
What she discovers are talents that she can't explain but
obviously part of the person she had been. So far Gabe is
delighted with the layers that are being exposed but he
fears there are some dark area being carefully hidden in
Angel's subconscious. She is fearful and plagued with
dreams that she cannot understand or remember once she
awakens.
Gabe knows it is beyond foolish for him to start having
feelings for this lost soul but there is something about
Angel that touches a part of him that he long thought
dead.
His goals are simple. Safeguard this lovely young lady and
hopefully once her memory returns there will be a place in
her new memories for him.
Ferrarella cooks up a really cute story with just the
right amount of sweet and tangy. She keeps us on our toes
waiting for the mystery to be solved.
SUMMARY
When Gabe Rodriguez took the job of deputy sheriff in the
small town of Forever, Texas, he thought he'd be bored. So
he's shocked the morning he discovers a car teetering on
the edge of a deep ravine with an unconscious woman at the
wheel. Gabe makes a daring rescue, but when the woman
awakes, her memory is wiped clean. Gabe may call her his Christmas "Angel," but in her eyes,
he's the one who is truly heaven-sent. Gabe's given her a
whole new life, and she is haunted by the feeling that this
is the happiest she's ever been. Though Gabe is trying to
help Angel recover her memory, she's willing to leave it
all behind her and start fresh with him at her side. But
when her past finally catches up to her, Angel could lose
everything, including Gabe.
