After losing his wife in a horrible car accident, Paul
Jones will do anything to hold onto his dying daughter
Lily, even kidnapping. What was supposed to be an easy
endeavor--kidnap a vampire and convince her to turn his
baby
girl in order to save her life--becomes much more
complicated when he finds himself falling for the lady vamp.
Jean Louise Argeneau isn't panicked when she discovers
herself kidnapped and chained to a bed. More than anything,
it's an inconvenience, until she tries to read the mind of
her handsome captor and discovers he may just be the life
mate she's been waiting for. Being kidnapped by a mortal is
a serious offense in the immortal world, and Jean Louise
will have to risk everything if she wants to spend the rest
of eternity with her mortal captor.
Now into book seventeen with her Argeneau series,
Lynsay
Sands' THE LADY IS A VAMP takes us in a darker direction
than the normally humorous and light-hearted fare she
provides. I love that Sands is always changing things up in
her book because it keeps the series going without readers
losing interest. Though this book is a bit darker,
with the storyline of a dying child, it's still very much
Sands at her best. Full of romance, action and heartbreak,
THE LADY IS A VAMP is another riveting read that's not to
be missed. I can't wait until the next book in the series
to see what new surprises Sands has in store for us.
