Romance Series

WESTERN WEDDINGS UNDER A WESTERN SKY is a thoroughly enjoyable anthology about some rather not to obvious bridal choices. But what they all shared was a heartfelt wish to find true love and live happily ever after even if the road to get there was unconventional. Sometimes the perfect match turns out to be a surprise but the important thing is to remain open to possibilities.

In HAND ME DOWN BRIDE Arabella had it all planned, coming west to join her fiancé Charles who was getting a home ready for her arrival. Friends all their lives, marriage was a foregone conclusion. However it wasn't Charles who met her stage but a surly, gruff, albeit ruggedly good looking guy who didn't seem all that happy to be there. Their trip to the ranch was made difficult with roads washed out by rain. Neither was all that impressed with the other but they found themselves thrown together by circumstances beyond their control. First impressions are infinity unreliable so it begs the question whether Arabella and Charles will look past those and realize how well suited they are.

In THE BRIDE WORE BRITCHES Everett and Nellie were doing their best to fit into ill fitting roles, his as refined gentleman and hers a lady. Everett lost his fiancé to a dandy dressed gent and was left feeling lacking. Nellie was only too aware of what people thought she lacked in feminine guiles. Even though Nellie answered the ad for a mail order bride ostensibly to research an article, upon meeting Everett she couldn't help wishing that this burly rancher would see her as a gently bred woman and keep her. Everett was tripping over himself to show his gentleman side. Truly funny stuff. If only they would wake up and realize the futility of passing as someone other than themselves, they would realize how perfect they were.

In SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING TRUE Rhiannon had a tough life since the death of her father left her fending for herself trying to hold on to the family sheep ranch. To survive she affected an appearance that would disguise the fact she was female -- to be treated equally in a male dominated world and not put her physically in harm's way. But was she losing herself in her loose male garments. Just how much did she have to give to keep her parents dream alive. Dylan knew Rhia since she was a little girl and his sister's best friend. He watched her grow up and was aware of her difficulties. He left his father's sheep ranch for his dream to work with horses. But his growing awareness of Rhia as an attractive, very desirable young woman had him at odds with his own dreams. They were from very different backgrounds, financially and socially. But when forces were working against Rhia there was no way Dylan was going to abandon this lovely young woman who had not only caught his eye but his heart.
